15 Things you didnt know about Goa. From a Heaven to a Hell. Beware.

These vies are my personal , however they are written with much consideration and analysis. My experience when I went there the 3rd time were the same experiences I had this time; however, this time I am putting it up on a blog.

  1.  Goa used to be a perfect travel destination in India around 15-20 years ago, upon researching the topic on google and talking to tourists foreign and national and talking to locals. Now the State Goa is much more like a dumping and hooliganing ground for the Desi(s).
  2. Goa is the new U. P. and Bihar. A lot more bhaiyas and biharis on the beach waltzing holding each other pinkeys.
  3. The business men from bike/car/travel agents and taxi drivers lie to you to get business and then take a 180 degree turn after receiving the payment.
  4. This was the 4th time that I've been to Goa and its attraction as a holiday destination is declining every year. Goa feels like a busy bustling city than a holiday place to relax.
  5. The nuisance at the beach like guys coming upto you a dozen time in a span of 10 minutes and saying "tatoo banwalo" "massage karvalo".
  6. Goa beaches seem like gorai beach and Juhu Beach.
  7.  Very Very unhealthy food everywhere.
  8. Almost all bottled water are heavily filled with chlorine, you can almost taste the chlorine in the water. This sort of water gets you into ill-health and wonder how you got diabetes ?
  9. Restrictions on everything inside and outside of any hotel. Ex: Sir yahan good night allowed nahi hai, I was told when I complained about too many mosquito's in the room. Aldeias Santa Rita.
  10. If you are travelling by a taxi around goa. It's a total rip off, basically everything is a rip-off in goa .
  11. My god tito's; what a worse place to go to. Paid the entry fee and went in only to get such a horrible feeling of a cheap crowd and waste music that I was out from it in 10 seconds .
  12. Many restaurants would advertise sea food by the pictures on the retaurant walls and also on their menu. You get into the Hotel expecting see food, but voila there is no sea food, you feel like you 've been cheated.
  13. Goa is an incredibly racist state. The racism and hate is not towards the non-natives or foreigners but towards the fellow Indias. It is very very common sight for Indian hotels at almost every beach to deny rooms to Indians saying "Sorry all rooms are full" and almost at all restaurants the service is first given to Foreigners and then later if time permits your order would be taken. The whole restaurant staff is very cordial to foreginers and the same amount of courtesy, not-even 10% of it is extended to Indias.
Bottom Line is: Everytime I visit Goa, more has been deteriorated and that just adds up in the list above. Everytime I leave Goa with the feeling of 'what a horrible waste of time' it has been.

Thanks to Reliance Jio for our reduction in data package costs

Hello Friends,

Before Reliance Jio launched its wireless internet services , you paid 300 Rs for 28 days for a 1 GB of data transfer from any existing wireless internet operator.

Jio introduced such a competition in the existing industry, free competition is always good everybody as I am repeatedly told and somehow vaguely agree to it too, is a remarkable sign of capitalism.

Much thanks to Reliance Jio, that only because of them we have wireless internet at much much cheaper prices today and that too from all existing operators (Vodafone, Airtel) who charged an ear and an arm for 1 GB. Now, they are selling 10GB data for the price of 1 GB.

Another point, Reliance Jio is offering 10GB data at the price of 1GB across entire India, whereas Vodafone and Airtel are not yet, according to this website.

"However, the customers in Uttar Pradesh (West), Uttar Pradesh (East), Haryana, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal ,Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Goa, Assam, the North East states, and Rajasthan will get 9 GB of 3G data but only on 4G handset during limited time between 12 AM to 6 AM if the subscriber recharges with 1GB or above plan. "

Once again I would like to repeat what the point of the article is in case its not clear. This post is an appreciation to Reliance Jio, because only because of their action we now have data at an economic price.

PS: In writing this post, I do not get any advertisement money from Reliance Jio, I simply write what is good and what is not good.

How to learn Salsa Dance Fast from Beginners to Winners, For Free and from International Competition Winners

Suppose you decided to learn Salsa and because you were intrigued by it when you saw people dancing the same at a social setting. Salsa, Bachata and other Latin Dances are a social dance forms, that means at the place where these dance forms originated, namely Latin America, it has been danced in a social form and hence its a social dance.

Many shops in Mumbai, where I live claim to be The Number 1 in latin and ballroom dances, well from my first hand experience as well, these claims prove to be nothing but a marketing line as with all other products and services being sold economy.

If you do join these shops, they will take around 2000/- rupees per month from you and teach you 1 step in 1 hour. Now unless you are incredibly stupid you could learn a lot more than just 1 step in an hour. These shops will teach you Salsa ...so slowly... so that they can milk the cow for a long time. This is wrong morally and ethically.

The best way to do it is to use Youtube, yes there are many guys and girls on youtube who teach , faaaar better salsa and bachata to you than these guys will ever will and that too for free. you can learn far quickly all the various steps in Salsa for free which you would have otherwise paid upwards of 30K,40K or even 50K. You can try the "SalsawithSilvia" channel on youtube which is free and teaches you far better. But do no go to these shops if you love and respect your time, money and self-esteem.

After you have learned that, you can go to Shiro on every wednesday Nights to see these Latin Dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha being danced and also enjoy yourself too.

Honest review of Opulentus

Its time for me to write a review on Opulentus, this review comes after almost 9 months of haggling ,customer frustration, blood boiling, unprofessionalism, 90% lack of knowledge about their own job and very very fraudulent practices when it comes to dealing with money. Almost 9 months ago I unfortunately fell prey to their repeated, repeated emails and phone calls to buy their services and oh so million golden opportunities waiting for your to grab, they speak of.

A reader reading my blog might think that I am a very negative person, but any person with atleast some awareness of the on-goings in the current world and any person with atleast some logic and common sense could see the difference between how immoral, unethical ways of doing things by companies and corporates have become now versus in the past.

I will a step by step blood boiling incidents, frustrations and their lack of knowledge in detail as I find time and recollect. The bottom line is 9 months have been wasted and 1.5 Lakhs wasted not even one rupee worth of work is done by them nor one satisfactory moment has been experienced and the main task of getting a visa , I am still working on it.

1st Step in their Process, is they ask you to do a FULL payment. and then they send you a service agreement with all the clauses that are heavily heavily unfair to the customer, which you have to sign. If they were a honest company, tell me what they should do? Common sense dictates that the customer must be given the agreement first and then if the customer feels satisfied with the rigged clauses then the customer should sign and make a payment. This first experience gave me a clue on how fraudulent their practices were to begin with and more were to follow in the days ahead.

..to be continued.
